Virginia Avenel Henderson(1897-1996)... The 14 Components of Nursing Care. She is the First lady of nursing and the First truly international nurse. She was so glamorous with her silky hair, bright blue eyes, wispy curls, and beautiful clothes. Like her, I also love chocolate and ice cream. Virginia did a lot of contribution with her theory in the field of medicine. Every patient must achieve health to meet his needs and you can use the 14 Components of Nursing Care as a basis for it.

She's so very busy person but she still have time for her self. And i think, being a military nurse is not that easy but she still make it.

She is an inspiration not only on her time, but also for the people today and for the new generation because of her unselfish love, helping hand, and advocating for the people.
She showed her generosity by sharing her knowledge about things and prove to the people that aside of having a great mind on her profession, she also possess a good characteristics that can be a good replica for everybody.
I think Henderson done a lot of things and finished all her uncompleted tasks because of her chocolate party before her death.

The life of Virginia Henderson is somewhat exciting, especially when ma'am danela said that Virginia is a party girl. Well, she is also a "kikay" girl or a fasjhionable girl (like me) that made her unique as a theorist. She is blue-eyed, and you can never see her with a straight hair. Henderson is compared to Nightingale by Halloran, a nurse theorist. Halloran thought that Henderson was to the twentieth century as Nightingale was to the nineteenth. They both wrote extensive works that have influenced the world. Henderson has been called the First Lady of Nursing and she is the first Truly International Nurse. Aside from that, she received so many awards that made me admire her.

She is truly an awesome nurse and theorist.

Because it stated that an early age of Henderson she was already interested in nursing unlike for me,I'm really interested in the field of engineering but I end of to be in the nursing field because of my very special someone my family and some of my experiences in life that is particularly related to the nursing field. It also inspire me to be good in class specially in TFN, I love the subject but the subject doesn't like me, because I really like history that's why I like about TFN and I will strive more in my studies to be just like Henderson someday, because she inherited many awards and achievements of her life, but don't really expect to be just like her but to be a registered nurse someday is enough for me to render my services to my family, friends, and the people around me and most especially to god.

And I Thank You Mam for this short-film showing for giving me such an opportunity to strive more in my studies to be registered nurse someday.

She is the first lady of nursing for she always wears elegant clothes and pearl, indeed she is really a beautiful woman. She managed to look gorgeous despite of the heavy work of being a nurse.
She is the first truly international nurse for she had studied in different places. And once she visited Philippines at Baguio City where in she said that Filipinos needs nurses, but now if she will visit our country again. I am sure she will notice the dramatic increase of population of nurses.
I admired her for giving up her wanted career which is to become an interior designer for she realized the need of nurses during the World War 1 but still did her passion on designing through applying it in hospital settings.

would not be boring. Because she loves party and chocolate even in her death she choose it to become a party and full of chocolate.

The theory of Virginia Henderson the "14 Components of Basic Nursing Care". Because of this theory now i know that nurses should help her patient to become independent as soon as possible. Also that we should have the 14 basic needs to be healthy because as she says that if you don't complete that needs you are not healthy.

Virginia Avenel Henderson, the proponent of "14 Components of Basic Human Needs Theory", was an excellent person. From the theorist that I've read, she is the aristocrat type of nurse that anyone can be and she was called the "Mother Pearl" because she like pearls. She was also called "First Lady of Nursing" and "The First Truly International Nurse" because she traveled in different countries to serve and to attend activities that concern in nursing profession. She established a party or gathering that is only for nurses that later become a conference and convention to give lectures and information about nursing education and practice. Henderson was a intellectual, joyful and have a sense of humor person...

Thank you mam oloresisimo for sharing this video........This gives me more information about Ms. virginia Avenel Henderson..
