Honestly, of all the theorists, Florence Nightingale is my favorite, because aside from her being considered as the "Matriarch of Modern Nursing" I also find her life story interesting and inspiring. She dedicated her life improving the quality of nursing care. Though she came from a rich family, what others think will think of her is never a hindrance to give the good nursing care that her patients deserve.
florence nightingale's life was very inspiring.She inspire me to love and give importance the field that i choose (the nursing as my chosen course now,and as my profession in the near future). Her life story also opened my mind in some good characteristics of a good nurse must have,the only thing that I slightly dont want about her is that she was bossy and she did not believe in germ theory but despite of those two things i dont want about her theres nothing more i can tell about her theory and beliefs.

...gud evening poh.. in nightingale theory which is the environmental theory in this she gave emphasis to the environment and to avoid the diseases we must keep our environment clean and sanitize . she also believe that a person must not waste there time talking and pleading but most be turns o actions .. Nightingale is a very courage woman because even though she would make the difference in time she doesn't care at all. and even though she is an aristocrat she she don't limit her self n helping others .. Nightingale was born with a silver spoon in her mouth because their family was an aristocrat. but inspite of being an aristocrat, she used to be a nurse and so she receives her father's disapproval. but then she insisted and took up nursing profession because she deserves the calling of God.. she is a versatile genius for me because she was knowledgeable in various fields such as math, language, philosophy, religion,politics and etc... these knowledge of her is uncommon to a victorian woman like her on her time... that's because she don't want to be an inactive wife of an aristocrat... she want to serve people,that's why she was called to become a nurse,following her mottoes such as "taking good care of the patient" and "think and act like a nurse"...

The video of Florence Nightingale is very inspiring. It was amazing how she gave up the life that she had, the wealth and the aristocratic victorian family and inspite of the fact that her mother and sister was against with her decision, she still went ahead and followed the call of God to became a nurse with her father's blessing. She was so brave being at the crimean war and helped all the wounded and dying soldiers by providing care and all the comforts that she can give to them 24 hours on her feet using a lamp by which she was titled as " Lady with the Lamp". She contributed a lot of her works and writing which is still adopted in the practice of nursing all around the world today and one of the popular among of which is the Nurses notes. Florence Nightingale practiced the importance of sanitation and health care and started the hospital statistics. This only shows that she have a good heart and that she always wanted to help other people who are in need and gave her unselfish love for others and for the betterment of the society. This also shows that education is important because you can help more and can impart your knowledge and care to others. She had set a good example of being a good nurse and servant to other people. She touches so many peoples lives and her great works will be an inspiration and lingers at many people hearts. She deserved all the awards and rewards that she received in her life for she was such a great person. Her monument serves as a memory that a lot of people will never forget for all the heroic works, writings and contributions that she made and by dedicating her life by helping other people and our society as well. By her being the instrument and started the practice of nursing, she inspires so many students and nurses to follow her footsteps including myself and this made me realized that through persistence, patience ,dedication and devotion nothing is impossible and you can make things happen. She was indeed a great person and I will use this as my inspiration in my walks of life by being a nursing student and hopefully someday I will become a nurse so that I can provide help, care and love towards other people with God's help.

She was interested in social issues and the sick.Her family strongly objected to her request to become a nurse because in those days nursing was not a suitable profession for rich women.
Florence Nightingale was a leader in advocating for the reduction of illness and poverty.She wanted to have an equivalent rights for everyone.
During the Crimean War, initially there was a strong reaction to the introduction of female nurses in military hospitals but Florence soon gained that respect of British soldiers. She motivates me to become a good nurse someday, and to be respected by everyone. I want this profession not because i am searching for a greener pasteur but to serve, to, care, and to love not to become a slave.

Nightingale's life is full of adventures. Since she was born, riches run to her blood because she's an aristocrat and a victorian.From childhood until adulthood,smartness and rational thinking is observed in her by her relatives.Plus, she really never let anything hinder her in her plan just like the instance in her life where almost everyone objected her to study (because women at that time were not allowed to study). Florence Nightingale is a well-educated and gifted person in her time. She is lucky rising with a gold spoon on her mouth with her parents and grew up as a respectable Victorian woman.
She was really a brave woman during the Crimean war because she save a lot of soldiers from death does not the cause of bullets, but cause of infections due to the polluted environment.
I admired her because she is an unusual one with a soaring mind being, and she had left some useful legacy that is helpful today to those nursing student like me.
Florence Nightingale was a very extraordinary woman. She already have her life prepared for her just like any other Aristocrat and Victorian women. All the riches and fame was hers, but still, she chose her own new path. she chose what she interpreted as her calling, being a nurse. Many did not agree and was disappointed by her. Before, nursing had a very poor reputation, but because of Florence Nightingale it changed and she brought a new sense of discipline to the job. She fulfilled her dream to become a nurse despite of some hindrances. She became a nurse against her family's will. I really admire her courageousness and strong faith in God. She believed that her calling to Nursing was directly from above. She gave her life fully to the field of Nursing. At first, she became superintendent of a hospital for sick gentlewomen, but she was more interested in the training of nurses and caring for the poor. Her story made me like the course that I’m taking up. And she made me realize what the essence of being a nurse is.

I know you did everything for this and I appreciate that. What I learned and realized is that Nightingale's life could be compared to Jesus Christ. Jesus had chosen to die for our sins. He is great but He mingled with humans who have deadly sickness which is the sins. Instead of praising and thanking Him, He was mocked, laughed at, and was crowned thorns. At the end, the people realized that He is really the messiah, the One that must be praised and awarded. Nightingale belongs to elite society yet she cleaned the wounds of the soldier, she spent her time in the dirty hospital and she has sympathy for the people around her who are undergoing suffering. And like Jesus, she was criticized by her friends and family. They do not know the essence of service. But in the later part, they realized that she is right, she was awarded and honored. But one thing in common, they both believed that it is the will of the Father in heaven. Florence Nightingale was an incredible person, no doubt about that, for she knows almost everything from household chores to statistics! all that and parties too!For her family was well known throughout England, it's no ordinary thing for her to attend social gatherings. Her life story was soo inspiring for me as a nursimg student, it gave me some hints of what characteristics I must posses if I would be following her footsteps. The time I heard about her story that’s the time I actually understand how hard and how much dedication the nurse profession will need furthermore that’s also the time I apprehend how significant the nurse’s line of work is. She is an extraordinary woman who made a massive impact on Nursing. It is very bizarre that an Aristocratic-Victorian lady would have such knowledge and enthusiasm in their time. She doesn’t look on social status and don’t practice inequity. She will be a good model in pursuing and reaching our dreams to be an excellent Nurse. With regards to the life of Florence Nightingale, it’s very evident that her life is not as ordinary as that of the other. “A lady with the lamp” served not only the people of her time, but still enlightening and touching the lives of the people at present.
Her works made her not only a better person, but a great partner of God in spreading humanity and giving meaning to the true spirit of service and unselfish love. .

Florence Nightingale’s life is great. I couldn’t just imagine that a lady like Florence Nightingale who grew up with wealth and considered as a Victorian and as an aristocrat woman would serve those wounded soldier during the Crimean war. Her compelling knowledge really helped to recover the plague of infection among the soldiers.
I have a high regard in a way how she easily found herself on what she really wanted to do in life. I really admire her potent dedication to her profession when she considered herself to be married in her chosen profession as a nurse during those times. And it means her life evolved just in the care of the sick and focused herself how nursing interventions would improve.
As I watched the film viewing of Florence Nightingale, I was amazed by her determination and perseverance in her chosen career-to be a nurse.She committed herself into nursing that brings intense anger and distress to her parents. Because during her time, nursing has a poor reputation and women in those times were not educated.Being an Aristocrat Victorian women like her have expected role to do, but it didn't stop her to help the poor and indigent people.All just she wanted to do is to help and serve the people. The life of Florence Nightingale was amazing. I admired her because even though she came from the Aristocrat family and her parents didn't want her working in the hospital, still, she was very determined to serve other people. She knew that God was calling her to serve others.
She was very devoted to her work as a nurse. She carried lamp as she walked the halls of the battlefield hospital and became known as the "Lady with the Lamp." She saved thousand of lives as she provided care for the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War.
She deseved to be the "Mother of Modern Nursing."

As I watch the video clip of Florence Nightingale's life story I was very inspired because she really helps a lot in the sick people. We all know that in time of Nightingale every women was not that educated as well as men. But despite of that she became a great nurse to help many people. Florence nightingale's life is a very wonderful. It touched my heart as a nursing student because she is the best model to all nurses. She's not selfish. She didn't look to the social standing of the person no matter how poor or rich as long as she has the strength to perform responsibly her duty. She is determined to help her countrymen and also a strong devotee of our Lord. She said and believed that she was called by God to help other people in their illness and wounds from the war by the means of her her service as a nurse. The Life Story of Florence Nightingale is very interesting. A model of a person who want to be a effective nurse someday. She is very an unusual to a victorian woman. She served the people with all her heart that made me inspire. She changed the image of a nurse in being slave. She deserve the title "mother of modern nursing".
Florence Nightingale, a pioneering nurse who have marked a spot onto nursing itself, built a foundation to serve as the cornerstone of the profession, is called as The Lady with the Lamp. As a Victorian Woman, it is not customary for her to serve the people who rank lower than her. Her peers asked themselves why Florence chose to serve her fellowmen instead of being served. My mother would always talk about Florence Nightingale and her service and how she started molding the foundation of Nursing. She even made me write about her story, which back then was oddly told by my mother because Florence is a complete stranger to me, and she told me to write down her groundbreaking actions to care for the ill. When Mrs. Oloresisimo made us watch her stirring story, from then did I learn that my mother’s story was beyond truth because Florence’s story made my eyes teary of her actions to create an establishment where her profession would likely stand tall from then to now. For Mrs. Oloresisimo, thank you for letting us view her heart melting history that has been a head start for me to really take Nursing critically and full heartedly.
after I read this article i learn how to care a patient with a proper way like a good ventilation, proper waste of noise, and water treatments and sometimes i apply this theory in my daily activities like after i wake up in the morning i apply good ventilation and after i read this now my decision is "final" that i will continue this course that ill taking up.
As I watched the life story of Florence Nightingale, I was amazed for her eagerness to serve for the sick, wounded and dying soldiers during the Crimean war. Her life and works are very inspiring. As a nursing student, I will follow her good examples and be a good nurse someday.

Florence Nightingale’s life story is very inspiring; she made outstanding contributions to the nursing profession. She showed her dedication in serving others, even though she is from an Aristocratic Victorian family she still stood up for her wish of becoming a nurse and to serve the sick people. She was determined to study nursing despite the disapproval of her parents.
Nursing, before her time was considered low-grade unskilled labor, became a respected profession because of her efforts. Originally, nurses received little or no classroom preparation. Most of the training was based on apprenticeship, with older students teaching the younger ones how to care for patients, but because of Florence Nightingale all of this has changed. She established the foundations for a higher education, to improve the nursing care. Through her efforts the stature of nursing was raised to a medical profession with high standards of education and important responsibilities.
I appreciate all of what she has done, she has motivated me to continue to pursue this profession and make a difference.
Florence Nightingale is really the Matriarch of Modern Nursing. Everyone who will know her life story will surely be amazed. Imagine that she left her wealth just to serve the humanity. Despite of being an Aristocrat-Victorian, she still has a great will of becoming a nurse.
She’s the girl who got almost everything. She has the richness, the intelligence and the commitment to her profession. And I was really inspired of her life story. Now, I’m not afraid to continue my course. By Florence Nightingale, I was enlightened that even being a nurse is not an easy job, but knowing that you can help and serve other people will definitely overwhelm your heart. Florence Nightingale was the nurse during the crimean war. She helps the victim of the tragic war which she put her life in her profesion as a nurse, though, she don't have a love life i still idolized her for what she did.
Florence Nightingales life is a good example that every nurse as well as ordinary individual should look up to and modeled. She has a lot of good things accomplished with her kindness and help many people without asking for anything in return........

The notes, entitled Notes on Nursing: What it is, What is not (1860), listed some of her theories that have served as foundations of nursing practice in various settings, including the succeeding conceptual frameworks and theories in the field of nursing.

It was awful to envisage how the inept approach of the Bristish Parliament put its men in the verge of total death by relinquishing the proper supplies intended for the maximum recuperation of their soldiers. It was during Nightingale that she managed to render utmost care for the casualties by proper sanitation and conducive environment. Even though she doesn't apply too much of the nurse-patient relationship, still she care for them that shows through her actions.
We the first year nursing students of Southern Luzon State University are very lucky to have the opportunity to have an extension class in the internet to learn beyond the four walls of our classroom and watch the life of Florence Nightingale "Lady with a lamp" because it is not enough to just read and read because even if we just visualize it on our own it would show different ideas that can be a hindrance for a better understanding but with that short film it did a good job to let us feel and be somehow part of that moment wherein the mother of modern nursing is doing a great job caring for those people that have been affected by the Crimean war.

Florence Nightingale is my favorite theorist because of her strong personality. She do what she think is right. She never stop in doing what she know is best for the wounded soldier during the Crimean war. Kahit na nahirapan sya to gain the support ng mga Military officials, she still try to do her best just to show what is lack in the Scutari and what is best to do with it. She's more on actions than magsalita kasi for her "put the words into action". Mas mabuti naman talaga na you do what's in your mind, for you to figure out the results. Watching the film is indeed an inspiration on my part as a nursing student. At first I thought that nursing profession is just a matter of caring for the sick, but this perspective was changed. I realized that the profession I'm engaged with needs a matter of commitment and passion for service.

The video of Florence Nightingale is very inspiring. It was amazing how she gave up the life that she had, the wealth and the aristocratic victorian family and inspite of the fact that her mother and sister was against with her decision, she still went ahead and followed the call of God to became a nurse with her father's blessing. She was so brave being at the crimean war and helped all the wounded and dying soldiers by providing care and all the comforts that she can give to them 24 hours on her feet using a lamp by which she was titled as " Lady with the Lamp". She contributed a lot of her works and writing which is still adopted in the practice of nursing all around the world today and one of the popular among of which is the Nurses notes. Florence Nightingale practiced the importance of sanitation and health care and started the hospital statistics. This only shows that she have a good heart and that she always wanted to help other people who are in need and gave her unselfish love for others and for the betterment of the society. This also shows that education is important because you can help more and can impart your knowledge and care to others. She had set a good example of being a good nurse and servant to other people. She touches so many peoples lives and her great works will be an inspiration and lingers at many people hearts. She deserved all the awards and rewards that she received in her life for she was such a great person. Her monument serves as a memory that a lot of people will never forget for all the heroic works, writings and contributions that she made and by dedicating her life by helping other people and our society as well. I'm very inspired for knowing Florence Nightingale also known as "THE LADY WITH THE LAMP" because of her philosophy, insights, advocacy, and her environmental theory.
She was interested in social issues and the sick.Her family strongly objected to her request to become a nurse because in those days nursing was not a suitable profession for rich women.
Florence Nightingale was a leader in advocating for the reduction of illness and poverty.She wanted to have an equivalent rights for everyone.
During the Crimean War, initially there was a strong reaction to the introduction of female nurses in military hospitals but Florence soon gained that respect of British soldiers. She motivates me to become a good nurse someday, and to be respected by everyone. I want this profession not because i am searching for a greener pasteur but to serve, to, care, and to love not to become a slave.

Nightingale's life is full of adventures. Before, nursing had a very poor reputation, but because of Florence Nightingale it changed and she brought a new sense of discipline to the job.
She fulfilled her dream to become a nurse despite of some hindrances. She became a nurse against her family's will. I really admire her courageousness and strong faith in God. She believed that her calling to Nursing was directly from above. She gave her life fully to the field of Nursing. At first, she became superintendent of a hospital for sick gentlewomen, but she was more interested in the training of nurses and caring for the poor. Her story made me like the course that I’m taking up. And she made me realize what the essence of being a nurse is.

What I learned and realized is that Nightingale's life could be compared to Jesus Christ. Jesus had chosen to die for our sins. He is great but He mingled with humans who have deadly sickness which is the sins. Instead of praising and thanking Him, He was mocked, laughed at, and was crowned thorns. At the end, the people realized that He is really the messiah, the One that must be praised and awarded. Nightingale belongs to elite society yet she cleaned the wounds of the soldier, she spent her time in the dirty hospital and she has sympathy for the people around her who are undergoing suffering. And like Jesus, she was criticized by her friends and family. They do not know the essence of service. But in the later part, they realized that she is right, she was awarded and honored. But one thing in common, they both believed that it is the will of the Father in heaven.
As a nursing student, I must also put in my mind and write on my heart that nursing profession is centered on God's LOVE.

Florence Nightingale was an incredible person, no doubt about that, for she knows almost everything from household chores to statistics! all that and parties too!For her family was well known throughout England, it's no ordinary thing for her to attend social gatherings.
Her life story was soo inspiring for me as a nursimg student, it gave me some hints of what characteristics I must posses if I would be following her footsteps. And one more thing, this blog was a great help in our studies it offers digested infos so that we won't find it hard to understand complicated books and through this blog, we can express ourselves better! I am really amazed to all her works because for me, She is trully a skilled nurse.She is good in Mathematics and also in philosophy which she inherited from her father who is a victorian. Another reason whi I admired most of her because she always want to be a different one.
I can consider Florence Nightingale as a gifted person because of her knowledge, skills, and abilities. But I'm not impressed in her ability to communicate with other people because we can barely see that there is no nurse-patient interaction. She is doing the nure patient passive relationship that for her you must cooperate in order for you to cope up with your disease or illness.
If Florence Nightingale will live in our present time, I think we can consider her as a heroine.I learned that if you want to be succesful in life or if you want to merge your dreams in reality, you must stand on what you think is right.

If I can describe Nightingale's story in just one word it will be "inspiring". The time I heard about her story that’s the time I actually understand how hard and how much dedication the nurse profession will need furthermore that’s also the time I apprehend how significant the nurse’s line of work is.
She is an extraordinary woman who made a massive impact on Nursing. It is very bizarre that an Aristocratic-Victorian lady would have such knowledge and enthusiasm in their time. She doesn’t look on social status and don’t practice inequity.
She will be a good model in pursuing and reaching our dreams to be an excellent Nurse. She is commendable to be called as the Matriarch of Modern Nursing.

I couldn’t just imagine that a lady like Florence Nightingale who grew up with wealth and considered as a Victorian and as an aristocrat woman would serve those wounded soldier during the Crimean war. Her compelling knowledge really helped to recover the plague of infection among the soldiers.
I have a high regard in a way how she easily found herself on what she really wanted to do in life. I really admire her potent dedication to her profession when she considered herself to be married in her chosen profession as a nurse during those times. And it means her life evolved just in the care of the sick and focused herself how nursing interventions would improve.

As I watched the film viewing of Florence Nightingale, I was amazed by her determination and perseverance in her chosen career-to be a nurse.She committed herself into nursing that brings intense anger and distress to her parents. The life of Florence Nightingale was amazing. I admired her because even though she came from the Aristocrat family and her parents didn't want her working in the hospital, still, she was very determined to serve other people. She knew that God was calling her to serve others.
She was very devoted to her work as a nurse. She carried lamp as she walked the halls of the battlefield hospital and became known as the "Lady with the Lamp." She saved thousand of lives as she provided care for the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War.
She deseved to be the "Mother of Modern Nursing."
Her life was incomparable. No one did the same thing as Nightingale did before.

Environmental care now a days was get from Nightingale Environmental Theory--very applicable and important knowledge to learn. As I watch the video clip of Florence Nightingale's life story I was very inspired because she really helps a lot in the sick people. We all know that in time of Nightingale every women was not that educated as well as men. But despite of that she became a great nurse to help many people. Caring for others includes love and concern, not only that but also being part of the patient's life. And also Nightingale made me realize how important the role of the environment is to an individual's health. And now, i'm applying it to my everyday life so I can avoid having an unhealthy body.
It's great we have Nightingale as a part of nursing history. Without Nightingale, everyone will suffer from different diseases. And so, i'm thankful we have her. Thanks to her Environmental Theory,. diseases and problems about health of an individual reduces.

She didn't look to the social standing of the person no matter how poor or rich as long as she has the strength to perform responsibly her duty. She said and believed that she was called by God to help other people in their illness and wounds from the war by the means of her her service as a nurse. She's lucky because she grew from a rich family and she's a gifted child but beside of the character she's still a spinster because she didn't prioritize intimate social relationships. Florence Nightingale, a pioneering nurse who have marked a spot onto nursing itself, built a foundation to serve as the cornerstone of the profession, is called as The Lady with the Lamp. As a Victorian Woman, it is not customary for her to serve the people who rank lower than her. Her peers asked themselves why Florence chose to serve her fellowmen instead of being served.
My mother would always talk about Florence Nightingale and her service and how she started molding the foundation of Nursing. She even made me write about her story, which back then was oddly told by my mother because Florence is a complete stranger to me, and she told me to write down her groundbreaking actions to care for the ill. When Mrs. Oloresisimo made us watch her stirring story, from then did I learn that my mother’s story was beyond truth because Florence’s story made my eyes teary of her actions to create an establishment where her profession would likely stand tall from then to now.
For Mrs. Oloresisimo, thank you for letting us view her heart melting history that has been a head start for me to really take Nursing critically and full heartedly.

Florence Nightingale’s life story is very inspiring; she made outstanding contributions to the nursing profession. She showed her dedication in serving others, even though she is from an Aristocratic Victorian family she still stood up for her wish of becoming a nurse and to serve the sick people. She was determined to study nursing despite the disapproval of her parents.
Nursing, before her time was considered low-grade unskilled labor, became a respected profession because of her efforts. Originally, nurses received little or no classroom preparation. Most of the training was based on apprenticeship, with older students teaching the younger ones how to care for patients, but because of Florence Nightingale all of this has changed. She established the foundations for a higher education, to improve the nursing care. Through her efforts the stature of nursing was raised to a medical profession with high standards of education and important responsibilities.
I appreciate all of what she has done, she has motivated me to continue to pursue this profession and make a difference.

Nighrtingale develop the sense that her life should become more useful. She wrote about her "calling" in her diary; she wrote "God spokes to me and called me to his service". After her calling become clear to her and understood, she decided to become a nurse. A nurse in their time is like a servant, and being a nurse is not common for a aristocratic victorian family.

The notes, entitled Notes on Nursing: What it is, What is not (1860), listed some of her theories that have served as foundations of nursing practice in various settings, including the succeeding conceptual frameworks and theories in the field of nursing.

It was during Nightingale that she managed to render utmost care for the casualties by proper sanitation and conducive environment.
Even though she doesn't apply too much of the nurse-patient relationship, still she care for them that shows through her actions.
We the first year nursing students of Southern Luzon State University are very lucky to have the opportunity to have an extension class in the internet to learn beyond the four walls of our classroom and watch the life of Florence Nightingale "Lady with a lamp" because it is not enough to just read and read because even if we just visualize it on our own it would show different ideas that can be a hindrance for a better understanding but with that short film it did a good job to let us feel and be somehow part of that moment wherein the mother of modern nursing is doing a great job caring for those people that have been affected by the Crimean war.

Florence Nightingale's life story inspires me a lot. She has a compassionate heart for those wounded and sick persons. Although she's rich enough, she served others. She contributed a theory and I admire her because she's not only a nurse but also a statistician and the likes. She gave me a thought that a person like me can do everything for as long as we like even others don't think I can be a nurse, I'll be a nurse someday.

The life of Florence Nightingale.Her life was so very inspiring. She's been an inspiration not only for me but to everyone. She did s lot of contribution in the field of medicine. Sde dedicate her life in nursing profession. She work very hard. Florence was so very brave. She still pursue her dream to be a nurse eventhough it is against all odds. She really want to be a registered nurse and serves to the people who need her help.
At crimean war, she cure the wounded soldiers. She helps the soldiers to recover. Florence monitor the wounded soldiers twentyfour hours a day, and at night she use the lamp to lighten the night and with that florence called the "Lady with the Lamp"

Honestly, of all the theorists, Florence Nightingale is my favorite, because aside from her being considered as the "Matriarch of Modern Nursing" I also find her life story interesting and inspiring.The life story of the “Lady with the Lamp” gives me different insights, ideas, and knowledge on how I can be competent in this profession. This enlightens me to gain more knowledge, to pursue this course, to achieve my goals and to love this profession.

Florence Nightingale did not rely on trials and experiments known or knowing only by experiences. The efficiency of her hospital nursing system and organization during the Crimean War is perhaps her finest known work. Her belief that the environment was the major element creating illness is definitely true and her theory which contains the major relationships is interactive to one another. Were if not to the Crimean War, Florence Nightingale could have not existed to be considered and honored as the founder of modern nursing as her works and writings continue to encourage and influences the modern nursing profession.

Florence Nightingale is my favorite theorist because of her strong personality. She do what she think is right. She never stop in doing what she know is best for the wounded soldier during the Crimean war. Kahit na nahirapan sya to gain the support ng mga Military officials, she still try to do her best just to show what is lack in the Scutari and what is best to do with it. She's more on actions than magsalita kasi for her "put the words into action". Mas mabuti naman talaga na you do what's in your mind, for you to figure out the results. This is what I've learned from Nightingale.

..During her life,Nightingale devoted her energies to societal issues and causes in an attempt to create social change. She continued to concentrate on army sanitation reform, the functions of army hospitals, sanitation in India, and sanitation and healthcare of the poor in England.
..Nightingale's work was recognized through the many awards she received from her own country and many other countries. She was able to work into her eighties and died in her sleep on August 13,1910 at age of 90.
